1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Detour Global ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book or host experiences. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Bookings & payments
Bookings are confirmed when payment is received and the Detour Insider accepts the request. Payments are processed by our third-party payment partners. Detour Insiders receive payout after the experience is completed.
4. Cancellations & refunds
Travelers may cancel up to 7 days before the experience for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days are subject to the Detour Insider's individual cancellation policy displayed on their profile.
5. Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm other users. Detour Global reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate community standards.
6. Liability
Detour Global is a platform connecting travelers with independent guides. We are not responsible for the conduct of any guide or traveler, though we provide tools and policies to keep both sides safe.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
